New Event Wizard Implemented

In a detailed study of what new users wanted in a catering software package, the resultant theme was consistent: “I want to lean the software quickly and easily!”

The study inspired the design team to make Total Party Planner (which is already know as the easiest software in the industry to learn) even easier and faster to learn!

We questioned…

We listened…

We designed…

We developed…

This month, the Total Party Planner team launches it’s highly anticipated, copyrighted, “new event wizard” feature. The prominent benefit of the wizard is that companies can now learn the fundamentals of TPP in literally just minutes -including basic profit analysis!

The new event wizard does more than just book a date for a contact. Users can EASILY generate an event with ALL of the fundamental components : booking detail (who, what, when, where), menu, beverages, rentals, miscellaneous, and staffing.

Lead wizard designer Michael Duncan explains “our goal was to develop a ‘getting started’ model that does NOT require reading through a multi-page getting started guide – or watching video tutorials. And we succeeded! The wizard accomplishes just that.”

Of course the wizard only scratches the surface of the powerful capabilities of the system. Outside the wizard, Total Party Planner expands to recipes, inventory, task management, pack lists, detailed notes, timelines, bulk emailing, extensive reporting, CRM, accounting, with the list going on and on…

TPP Web Now MAC Compatible via Firefox Browser

With the explosive popularity of the Firefox browser, it only made sense for our development team to make the Total Party Planner web-based solution compatible with this up-and-coming utility.  Thus, Firefox 2.0 is now officially added to our list of compatible browsers, along with Internet Explorer 6.0 and Internet Explorer 7.0.

The added advantage of Firefox compatibility is that MAC users can now run our web-based application!!  TPP has always been known in the industry as a “Windows” based company – but that has all changed now.  We look forward to providing software to companies that have chosen MAC as their preferred choice of computers.

The Firefox 2.0 browser is a free download from Mozilla and can be accessed via:http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/.

StaffMate Online is the first and only staff scheduling program created specifically for the special events industry. It has the power and flexibility to transform the way you schedule your own on-call staff.  Harness the power of the Internet to slash scheduling calls by 75% or more and nearly eliminate the employee ‘clarification calls’.

How does it work?  Simple.  Seamlessly export staff requirements, with the click of a button, from TPP Web directly into StaffMate Online.  Double entry into 2 systems is eliminated.

A comment from a client site currently using the interface was : “Perfect!”

Both Total Party Planner and StaffMate Online are excited about the opportunity of providing the industry with an integrated solution.
